About
I have a background in art, music, and philosophy. I completed a bachelor's degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Visual and Critical Studies and I have a masters degrees from the European Graduate School in Philosophy, Art and Critical Theory, where I completed my thesis on the Institutional Psychotherapy movement in France and on the work of Félix Guattari. I also have a masters from Antioch University Los Angeles in Clinical Psychology and studied at the Institute for the Psychoanalytic Study of Subjectivity based in New York City. I am currently continuing my psychoanalytic education at the Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies. I feel lucky to be a therapist because I get to have candid and meaningful interactions with others. This work makes me feel deeply connected to the human experience. Through my own participation in therapy as well as my experience as a therapist I am in awe of human complexity and the capacity for resilience inherent in all people.
