Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
I primarily work utilizing a psychodynamic approach. Through honest, reflective conversation, we will explore the past and present in order to cultivate insight and collaborate on the creation of a new understanding of self. It is my goal to foster an authentic relationship between therapist and client as well as encourage congruence between the client's internal and external faculties. I think of this work as holistic because the aim is not to target specific symptoms but rather get to the root of the issue in order to facilitate lasting change.
